What is included In My Cruise Fare?
  • Conference Ticket – General Sessions & Breakouts – For SFG agents and select guests. If you are unsure if your ticket includes this, please reach out to Registration@sfglife.com.
  • Cabin on the ship & Daily Gratuities
  • All Meals on the ship and at Labadee (Specialty restaurants do have an extra charge)
  • Most Beverages (Included: Tap water, tea, coffee, milk, lemonade, iced tea, juices (not fresh squeezed)) These are included on Labadee as well!
  • Most activities on the ship including zip line, water slides, dry slide, Flowrider, mini golf, rock climbing walls, sports court, ice skating, pools, Splashaway Bay children’s pool & play area, Laser Tag, Karaoke Bar & Carousel (A few of the activities like the escape room do have an extra cost)
  • All shows and entertainment
  • Daily childcare in Adventure Ocean (Afterhours care and under 3 care does cost extra and is an hourly charge)
When will I know which cabin I have been assigned?

We will submit the first manifest to RCCL in December 2019. Once that is complete, RCCL will assign cabins based on first come first serve and preferences. If you require a specific cabin, please note it in your registration or email connect@seareg.com with your request.

Can I request a specific Cabin or area?

When you book your cabin, if you request a specific cabin or area, we will do our best to honor your request, but it is not guaranteed by Royal Caribbean. Your cabin number will be assigned and provided to you around 90 days prior to embarkation. At this point, you will be given access to the Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner and you will be able to book shore excursions, spa treatments, shows and many other amenities, both on and off the ship!

*Note, cabin numbers are provided and guaranteed based on the information provided by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Requests to move cabins will be entertained on a first come first serve basis and are not guaranteed. If your request is not approved, you will be notified by SeaReg. Requests to move cabins should be provided in writing only to connect@seareg.com. Please do not contact Royal Caribbean to request changes as they will be unable to help.

What is the Payments & Cancellation Policy

Payments

  • 15% Immediate Non-Refundable Fee is due at the time of purchase
  • Total 50% of balance due 90 days from the date of purchase
  • Total 75% of balance due 270 days (9 months) from the date of purchase
  • Total 100% of balance due on 365 days after registration or March 28, 2020 whichever comes first
  • **Individuals submitting a new registration under 90 days (1/20/2020) of the cruise sailing date (April 19, 2020) will be required to pay the entire balance of their cruise registration prior to 21 days in advance of the sailing date regardless of payment schedule listed above. We encourage later registrants to make overage and periodic payments to ensure your cruise registration is paid in full within 21 days of the sale date. Additional payments can be made at any time by modifying your online cruise registration. Registrations not paid in full at least 21 days in advance are subject to their registration being cancelled per the cancellation policy.

Cancellation

  • Cancellation on or prior to February 28th, 2019 = Initial Deposit or 15% of the total cruise cost is non-refundable
  • Cancellation March 1, 2019 - July 31, 2019 = 35% of the total cruise cost is non-refundable
  • Cancellation August 1, 2019 - September 29, 2019= 65% of the total cruise cost is non-refundable
  • Cancellation September 30, 2019 - December 18, 2019 = 75% of the total cruise cost is non-refundable
  • Cancellation on or after December 19, 2019 = 100% of the total cruise cost is non-refundable
  • **Any promotional deposits less than 15% are non-refundable

**Refund schedule above will apply to the total cabin cost. If changes to cabin type or occupancy are made within 45 days of cancellation request, refund schedule will be based off cabin type and/or occupancy selected 46 days prior to cancellation.

**Registration records that fail to apply on time deposits are subject to cancellation. Monies previously deposits will be subject to a 100% forfeiture or per the cancellation schedule as outlined above, whichever the greater.

**To protect both Symmetry Financial Group and the cruise registrants from unknown cancellation errors, ensure policy enforcement and provide accurate financial management, cancellations requests must be submitted by contacting the Symmetry Cruise Cancellation desk at connect@seareg.com. Online cancellations via the cruise registration system will not be available.

Should i purchase travel insurance?

Yes. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. We have partnered with our friends at TravelEx.
We recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. For your convenience, we offer travel protection through Travelex Insurance Services.

I know its early, but, what if I am pregnant during the cruise?

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. policy regarding pregnancy is derived from the Cruise Lines International Association endorsement of the American College of Emergency Physicians Health Care Guidelines for Cruise Ship Medical Facilities, which can be found at http://www.acep.org/Content.aspx?id=29980. This includes the guideline that “Pregnant women who have entered the 24th week of estimated fetal gestational age at any time during the cruise should not be eligible to sail with the ship.

It is Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. policy that any Guest who will have entered her 24th week of pregnancy or greater, at any time during the cruise, will be prohibited from sailing.

The Guest and treating physician should consider before any cruise that there is no Obstetrician/Gynecologist available on the ship, and that pregnancies, when unstable and poorly controlled, are potentially life-threatening, especially without back up. A Guest may be at sea for several days without any immediate hospital and/or specialist back up, and that since the proposed itinerary is not within the U.S., and the availability of specialized shore side facilities can be problematic.

Travel

What documents do I need to cruise?

U.S. Citizens may sail using their:

  • Official Birth Certificate and a supporting Government Issued Photo ID, like a driver’s license or an identity card. Please note that hospital Birth Certificates (baby feet Birth Certificates) are not accepted.
  • U.S. Passport book that is valid at least 6 months after your cruise.

    If you need additional information about your passport or visa, Visit the United Sates Department of State travel information website.

Puerto Rican Citizens should review their birth certificates and ensure they are up to date. Puerto Rican birth certificates issued prior to July 1, 2010 are not valid forms of proof of citizenship.

United States Permanent Residents must have a United States Permanent Resident Card and a passport from your home country is strongly recommended. Click here for additional information

No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

What documents do I need to provide for my child to cruise?

A U.S. citizen under the age of 16 will be able to present either an original, notarized or certified copy of his or her birth certificate, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad issues by DOS, or Certificate of Naturalization issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Note: Baptismal papers and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. Voter registration cards or Social Security cards are not considered proof of citizenship.

I am bringing a friend’s child with me, what do I need to do?

You will need a signed and notarized letter of consent from the Childs parent. Please email registration@sfglife.com for more information.

What Airport should I fly into?
  • Miami International Airport - MIA - 1990 NW 49th Avenue, Miami, FL 33126
  • Fort Lauderdale Airport - FLL - 200 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315 (50-minute drive to Miami)

    When booking your flights, remember that your flight should not leave Miami before 11AM on the day of debarkation. We recommend that you depart from Miami after noon.

Is it bad to fly in the day of the cruise?

Yes, travel delays, flight delays, cancellations, accidents, etc all cause issues with cruising. The ship cannot wait in port beyond the scheduled time.

Are there specific hotels in the Miami area we should be booking at for the night of the 18th?

We have secured several courtesy blocks at area hotels. Below are the listing of those hotels!

When to arrive

We recommend you arrive in Miami on April 18th, 2020 and spend a night in your hotel. If you choose to fly into Miami on April 19th, 2020 and your flight is cancelled or delayed, we cannot hold the ship and your cruise fare is non-refundable at that point.

My flight doesn’t leave Miami, FL until after 5PM the 23rd… what can I do?

Before I Board

When can I start checking in to our cruise?

Once you receive your welcome email with your stateroom and RCCL Reference Number, you can go to https://www.royalcaribbean.com/account/signin . Already have an account? Sign in and then click on Add A Cruise under the section Have A Reservation? Next just click on Check In next to your reservation.

What information do I need to have available to check in online?
  • Personal information for each guests you are checking in
  • Identification documents for each guest you are checking in (Passport or other)
  • Travel Plans (Flight Information, etc.)
  • Onboard expense account information (i.e. credit card you wish to use onboard)
    You will need to establish an onboard expense account in order to board
After I check in, what’s next?
The first step to getting on the ship starts with the Royal Caribbean International website. You MUST check in on the Royal Caribbean Website at least 72 hours prior to arriving at the port. Once checked in, follow the prompts to make your onsite and onboard experience a breeze!
Where can I find my Set Sail Pass?

Once you have completed your online check in, your set sail pass will be issued. You can find it on the RCCL website by signing in, or in the Royal App.

How much luggage can I bring with me?

Each guest is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal property (including luggage) aboard the vessel; however, for your comfort and convenience, it is recommended that you limit the number of pieces you take. Each guest has the option to carry their luggage on board or check-in luggage prior to boarding. Luggage may include suitcases, trunks, valises, satchels, bags, hangers containing clothing, toiletries and similar items. Here are some recommendations for packing only cruise essentials.

We recommend that guests personally carry any boarding documentation such as passports, visas, citizenship documents and family legal documents plus all medications. To minimize the potential for diversion or loss of medications, we advise that all medications remain in their original, labeled prescription containers. It is also advisable to pack at least three days of extra medication in the event of an unexpected change in the itinerary of the voyage. It is also a good idea for guests to pack a small carry-on bag with a change of clothes, and bathing suit. That way they don't have to wait for their checked bags to arrive in their stateroom.

What are important things I should plan to pack?
  • Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!
  • Magnet hooks. The walls of the ship are steel, so magnet hooks work well for holding towels, wet bathing suits, lanyards, etc.
  • Poo-Pourri Spray. The bathrooms in your room are small, so you may want to consider this option!
  • Magnetic Dry Erase Board: Want to let your friends know where you are? This is a great option. Put the board on your door to let people know your location or schedule.
  • Highlighter: Mark up your cruise compass with all the activities you want to do!
  • Downy Wrinkle Releaser: Having to send your laundry to get pressed is time consuming. Wrinkle release spray makes this easy!
  • Dramamine Non-Drowsy Naturals: Just in case!
  • SeaSick Patches: Using natural herbs and scents, these patches control any sea sickness you might feel.
  • If you are very prone to seasickness, one option are ReliefBands. They are nonprescription bands which use electricity to trick you body into not being sick! You can also talk to your doctor about Transderm Scopamine which is a prescription topical patch.
  • Cash (small bills): Although Gratuities are paid by Symmetry, giving a small tip here and there will make your experience that much better!
What are things I shouldn’t or can’t bring on the cruise?

  • Note: *Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blade length less than 4 inches are allowed.
What is the best way to get to the port from my hotel?
Some hotels provide a free shuttle to the port, but most have a moderately priced shuttle if not free. Other options include Uber or Lyft. Taxi’s are always available in the Miami area as well.
How does checking in work at the port?
  • The new Miami port check in process is more streamlined and quicker than any other port! In order to see these results, you must check in online at least 72 hours before and ensure that your photo meets the guidelines.
    Please complete your check-in online at least 72 hours before your sailing to skip the counter.
  • When you arrive at the terminal, be sure you have your SetSail Pass ready in hand along with the credit card you registered for expenses and required identification documents. 
  • If you’re parking at Terminal A, agents will be in the parking garage to receive your luggage and review your documents. 
  • If you’re taking a taxi or using a ride sharing service, agents will be awaiting you at the drop off area. 
  • In both cases, after your documents are reviewed, you’ll proceed onto the ship. 
  • Didn’t get to complete online check-in or forgot your printouts? You’ll head to the check-in desk and our agents will take care of you. But for the quickest experience, we recommend you check-in online at least 24 hours before your sailing. 

On Board

What should I plan to wear on the cruise?
  • The official SFG Stance is: Be comfortable, its vacation! There are only a few instances where we will ask you specifically dress up! On day 4, we will have our awards afterparty! Everyone on the ship be it Agent, Friend, Family or client is invited! Since we are celebrating 10 years, help us celebrate a decade with a decade’s party! Come dressed to impress with your favorite decade of dress! *Note, this is not a formal night, but a night of fun so be creative and have fun!
  • Bare feet are only allowed on the pool deck
  • If you're planning to ice skate, please make sure to bring long pants and socks. All skaters are required to wear long pants and socks for their own comfort and safety.
Is room service included in my cruise fare?

Yes, and No. Complimentary "Continental Breakfast" is included in your cruise fare. American breakfast, snacks or any other meal is a charge of $7.99 per cabin, per delivery. The food is always free, the delivery is $7.99. Any Alcohol ordered through Room Service is NOT included in your beverage package even if you purchase the deluxe beverage package.  

Is there a self-service laundry room on board?

No, you can send your laundry out with your room steward for a nominal fee.

Is there internet available on the ship?

Yes! Voom internet will be available for purchase closer to our sailing! This high-speed internet comes in two varieties, Surf (email, normal communication) or Surf & Stream - (Email, Streaming movies, etc)

Should I contact my cell phone carrier to setup onboard internet usage?

If you choose not to use the onboard Voom Internet, some cellphone carriers provide a service on the ship. This service is usually just for calls and a small amount of internet! Check with your service provider to see what options they have! 

What is luggage Valet and should I purchase it?

Luggage Valet is a service offered onboard which enables guests to bypass traditional airport check-ins. Guest who participate will be processed onboard the ship and receive their airline boarding passes, luggage tags as well as baggage claim checks for their checked-in luggage. 

Luggage Valet is offered at a minimal fee, plus the airline luggage fees. The per person fee is waived for guests staying in Grand Suites and above.

What are some Do Not Miss things to see on the ship?
  • Play a round of Putt Putt Golf! 
  • Need some quiet time? Take a walk around the Running Track on deck 5. Follow it all the way around to the back of the ship and relax in one of the chairs there! 
  • Give surfing a try on the Flowrider – Deck 15 Toward the back of the ship! 
  • Go rock climbing in the middle of the ocean! Go all the way back to the back of the ship on decks 6 or 7! 
  • Walk around the ship and try to find all 42 Small Wonders 
  • Grab a Roast Beef sandwich at Park Café - Deck 8 in Central Park 
  • Take an All Access tour to have a view of the bridge and back of house areas of the ship! 
  • Take a ride on the longest slide at sea, the Ultimate Abyss – Deck 15 all the way to the back! 
  • Have a world class massage in the Vitality Spa 
  • Enjoy a nice long soak in one of the many whirlpools on deck 15!

What drinks are included with my cruise fare?

Tap water, tea, coffee, milk, lemonade, iced tea, juices (not fresh squeezed) are included with all meals. 

Any soda, alcohol or other drinks are not included without a drink package purchase. You can purchase drinks a la carte in any venue. 

What restaurants are open 24 hours on the ship? 
  • Promenade Café is open 24 hours
  • Room Service is open 24 hours ($7.99 delivery fee applies)
  • Sorrento’s Pizza is open until 3AM
  • Windjammer is open until 9PM 
Can I purchase a drink package for me and share it with my significant other/family/guest? 

No. RCCL requires that anyone in the same cabin over the age of 21 purchase the deluxe package if another person in the cabin has purchased it. If you are caught sharing your package, RCCL will disable your package and will not provide a refund of your package fare. 

What is the advantage of purchasing a drink package? 

Drinks on a cruise ship range from $7.50 for a beer up to $14 for a mixed drink. Knowing ahead of time that you have fixed costs helps you plan ahead. 

Do the costs of 7.50 - $14 for drinks include the gratuities?

No, there is an 18% gratuity added on top of all drink or food purchases unless you purchase a package.  

What all drinks are included with the deluxe drinks package?

No, alcoholic beverages are not included in the $7.99 room service fee. 

Can I order multiple drinks at the same time using my drink package? 

No, only one drink at a time can be ordered at the bar unless the drink is being purchased for someone else. IF the second person has a drink package, they must be present with their SeaPass Card. If not, you would be charged for the second drink.

Are gratuities included with the drink package costs?

Yes! All gratuities are included! Although, having a few dollar bills with you will get you a long way with the bartenders (or just add a dollar on your seapass receipt!)

Children On Board

What child care is included with the cruise and what will i be required to pay for?
  • All of the below is included! There is a nominal hourly charge for childcare after the hour of 10PM 
  • With our Adventure Ocean® youth programs, not only will your children's time on board be fun, it will be educational too! Aquanauts (ages 3-5 years) will have fun conducting cool experiments and becoming Certified Jr. Adventure Scientists. Our specially designed Explorers program (ages 6-8 years) is packed with exciting cruise activities for kids, which includes themed parties. Voyagers (ages 9-11 years) will explore a range of activities that puts the "cool" back into learning.  
  • Whether hanging out with other cruisers or checking out games, sports and parties are on your tween's agenda, our teen-only spots are the places to go. Our Teen program also allows older kids the freedom to come and go as they please. They'll love it so much the only thing you might wish for is a little more time with your kids.  
I am bringing a child under 3, can they be taken to childcare?

Yes! Royal Babies and Tot's program is for children under 3! There is a nominal hourly charge for this service.  

My baby will be under 6 months old, can they come on the cruise?
  • The RCCL policy is that no child under the age of 6 months can cruise with Royal.
  • Exceptions CAN be made by petitioning RCCL to receive an exception. You will need a written statement from your doctor showing they are in good health and able to travel. You will submit that to RCCL and they will have the onboard doctor sign a statement for this.
  • In the event your exception is denied, SFG will not be responsible for refunding your cruise fare. 
Are there specific times that the children need to be picked up?
  • There will be times where the kids club will be closed. Those times will be posted as we are nearer to our cruise.
  • You must pick your child up by 10PM each night or pay for the Afterhours care hourly.

At Labadee, Haiti

What is there to do in Labadee?
  • There are 4 beaches – Adrenaline Beach, Columbus Cove, Nellies Beach & Barefoot Beach
